"The Senior's Night Escapade" #2

When I was a graduating student in high school, my unforgettable escapade is our "senior's Night" event. The event was held last March 21, 2010 at the Elena Tower Inn. I can say that all of us were excited because of the incoming graduation day. That night, we were having fun taking souvenir photos with my friend at the ground floor of the building. My friend John brought with him his black purse. While we were in the middle of the enjoyment, we didn't noticed that the purse was left in the white chair. We were in the 7th floor when we remember it. We were all in panic as we try to find the purse because it contains the digital camera, 2 cellphones, and 7,000 plus worth of money. we tried to call the phones many times to make it ring and for us to find it easily. But we failed to do so. We reported it to the security guards and they help us searching. It's passed 10 o'clock in the evening, we almost lose hope because we thought that someone already found it. My friend was crying and was in deep shock because of the things he lost. As the time goes by, more friends came to help us. One friend of mine went to the rest room at the back of the building to pee. He noticed a black purse at the ceiling of the barracks of one of the guards whose with us lately. He was really curious of that so he took it. He found out that it was the purse of my friend John. We didn't tell the guards about it because we wanted to know who was occupying that barrack. Actually, we already suspected the guard whose assigned in that area of the building because the way he moved made us believed its him who kept the purse. What he did was not right, keeping things that do not belong to his property. The overall decision is not to tell the management about it because we don't want him to get fired and we forget about what happened. As if we were looking forward to the things that might happen to him if he lost his job. The important thing is that, the purse was gave back to the owner.

In that happening, I learned a lot of lessons. Like, when in an occasion, always put in mind that you are also bringing important things. Secondly, helping each other makes the work easier and faster. The next is, never keep things that's not yours, remember that "honesty is the best policy". Finally, the last but not the least, learn to forgive and forget.

That is my chosen escapade because me and my friends work together as one. And that we give importance to what others feel. Even though we're all tired and didn't get the full enjoyment of the event, we really had fun stepping up and down on the stairs. Maybe my escapade is quite simple, but I can't explain the happiness I felt when I'm with my friends that time. It's like when I used to remember it, it makes me smile.

  1. good job guys!!!God was so really happy of what you did because you help your friend even though you're in the middle of the party, you are more concern to him than the said event ..Maybe you don't enjoy the night because of that incident but what more important is you have learned a new lesson in life and also, to the security guard, well,God maybe make him realize someday that what he did was wrong..
